We are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant / Architect with deep expertise in .NET application modernization, SQL Server database design, and Microsoft Azure Cloud. The role involves assessing legacy systems, defining migration strategies (Lift-and-Shift, Rehost, Refactor, Re-platform), and leading the transformation of on-prem applications to Azure-based architectures. The consultant will collaborate closely with client stakeholders, developers, and DevOps teams to ensure secure, scalable, and cost-optimized modernization.

Required Skills & Experience

.NET Core / .NET 6+, C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, Entity Framework.

SQL Server (2016+): performance tuning, schema optimization, stored procedures, migration to Azure SQL.

Azure Services: App Service, Azure SQL, Blob Storage, Azure Functions, Key Vault, Application Gateway, Application Insights, ACR/AKS (optional).

Strong experience in application refactoring, re-architecture, and modernization practices.

DevOps: Azure DevOps pipelines, YAML, ARM/Bicep/Terraform templates.

Knowledge of CI/CD, IaC, Git branching, and environment promotion strategies.

Security & Governance: Identity (AAD), RBAC, Key Vault secrets, managed identities.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.
