Job Description:

We are urgently hiring a Node.js / TypeScript Engineer Local to Colorado who can come for in person interview (Face 2 Face interview) to join a small, agile team building REST and event-driven microservices. The ideal candidate will have strong backend experience, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to design and scale high-performance systems.

Round 1: Virtual interview

Round 2: In-person interview

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance REST APIs and event-driven microservices.
• Handle large-scale event processing (millions of REST & Kafka events daily).
• Build scalable, reliable, and secure backend systems.
• Implement TDD and automated testing frameworks.
• Collaborate with DevOps and cloud teams for CI/CD and deployments.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical excellence.

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js & TypeScript.
• Expertise in REST APIs, Redis caching, and AWS managed services.
• Experience with DynamoDB or other NoSQL databases.
• Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Istio, Argo (containerization & orchestration).
• CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab.
• Monitoring tools: Splunk, Datadog, Prometheus, etc.
• API documentation using Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Scala for REST API development.
• Knowledge of software security patterns.
• Experience with test-driven development (TDD) and DevOps collaboration.
